Sitting on the bathroom floor.

I'm not exactly sure what a good method is to potty train anymore. Peeing isn't a problem unless he wants to ruin my day, in which case he pees in his pants purposely. Otherwise he's a urinating genius. Getting him to poop is nightmare and makes me seriously not want another child for 10 years. At this very moment I'm sitting on the bathroom floor on a stack of towels with a pillow behind my back. Pieter's sitting on the potty (actually he's standing on it looking at the many facial expressions he can make in the mirror), but let's pretend he's trying. I've done this 3 times and each time was successful after oh, 2 to 3 hours of sitting in the bathroom. I can't wait till he understands the concept of the faster you poop, the faster you get a popsicle.

So, on another note I have been trying to capture more funny/random pictures lately. Here's one of Nick and Pieter. Pieter's required to hold one of our hands when we walk across the street, but jeez, is he required to dress like Nick?

Everyday we make it a point to walk to the mailbox even if it's raining. Pieter makes it a point to jump in every major puddle on the way there and the way back with no regards to me yelling at him to "walk around it!" I need to get him some new sandals soon.

Next we have the toddler burrito. No longer the baby burrito, but still just as cute.

Finally, yesterday Nick, Pieter and I made a trip to Walmart to look at lamp shades. Nick had found an ad on Craigslist for a free lamp so we went to pic it up yesterday and ummm, well....it's worse then hideous. We came up with a few reasons why WE thought this woman felt the need to give away such a hideous lamp rather then put it in the trash. My assumption was that she's a reclus and has to find some way of interacting with another human being even it is only for 10 seconds. Few words were said...she popped her head and hand out of the door handed the lamp over and said, "here you go." Nick said thanks and we left. To not hurt her feelings I waited till we were in the car to comment on this thing. Anyway!, getting back to the next picture. We were in the lamp shade aisle (no lamp shade would fix the ugliness so we just bought a new lamp) and ther was this random poster of a wrestler. Pieter opened it up and this is what it looked like...

My child is ripped for 2.5!

Anyway, he's not poopin' so it's time to shower and get ready for a fun-filled day at the DMV.
